Gas Upgrades, Downgrades & Alterations

For certain projects or redevelopments it may be necessary to upgrade or downgrade the amount of gas that your current gas pipe and meter can deliver. For example, changing a commercial premise from a standard office to a restaurant would require a bigger gas supply, and therefore requires sufficient extra capacity for appliances to work effectively. Our experienced team can carry out a feasibility study to give you all of the information you need to be able to make the right decision about any upgrade, and take the most appropriate action.

 

In contrast, a development which has a large gas meter may be able to downgrade the size of the meter to make savings on the standing charges. Whatever the specification, we can change the current gas pipe in accordance to the development and its gas requirements.
